Brighton: Malick Yalcouyé gains ground after international break with the Elephants

On October 16, Malick Yalcouyé was added to Brighton’s Conference League squad in place of Nigerian player Zadok Yohanna, having been left out of the club’s initial selection for the competition. The 20-year-old Ivorian midfielder scored against Ghana in Bouaké on September 24 and helped secure a 2-0 win over Somalia three days later, in his first two appearances for the Elephants. Coach Fabian Hürzeler praised Yalcouyé’s reliability and said Brighton could count on him in every match.
