Brighton shock Man City, closing gap on Premier League leader to two points

Brighton beat Manchester City 1-0 on Saturday, handing City a second consecutive Premier League defeat and moving within two points of the leaders. Yasin Ayari scored the only goal in the 11th minute, and goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen held off City’s second-half attack. It was Brighton’s first away win against City in 18 attempts. Arsenal can move top of the table if they avoid defeat at Liverpool on Sunday.
