BRT in Abidjan: PMUA aims to connect Yopougon to Bingerville in under 45 minutes

The Abidjan Urban Mobility Project (PMUA) aims to reduce the travel time between Yopougon and Bingerville to under 45 minutes with the implementation of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Currently, this journey takes over two hours during peak times. BRT construction is ongoing, with over 40% completion, and is expected to be finalized by the end of 2028. The PMUA also includes actions to strengthen public transport and professionalize informal transport operators.
