Budget 2027: Bassirou Diomaye Faye Reduces Ministers' Envelopes

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has reduced the envelopes of ministers to prepare the 2027 budget. The spending ceilings of the State Financial Operations Table have been revised downward by nearly 288 billion CFA francs. The government is tightening its belt to take into account constraining factors such as the projected 4.9% budget deficit in 2027.
