Building wind turbines out of parts found in Gaza’s rubble

Palestinians in Gaza’s al-Mawasi camp have built wind turbines to generate electricity. They assembled the turbines using parts salvaged from the rubble of destroyed buildings. With the war having destroyed reliable power sources, residents engineered this solution to produce electricity.
