Two villas located in Point E, Dakar, were allocated to Serigne Bassirou Guèye through a 99-year emphyteotic lease at a monthly rent of 100,000 CFA francs, on the orders of former President Macky Sall. Yaya Abdoul Kane, former general director of SOGEPA SN, confirmed that these properties were not listed in the state’s assets and that the decision originated from the Presidency. Serigne Bassirou Guèye, a former Dakar prosecutor and head of the OFNAC, has been involved in sensitive judicial cases under the previous regime.
