Bukavu: the series of deadly fires continues, hundreds of houses reduced to ashes in less than a week

The city of Bukavu has experienced a series of devastating fires, resulting in the destruction of hundreds of houses, two schools, a church, and several businesses. The latest incident occurred on September 6, with more than five fires reported in different neighborhoods, causing at least 3 deaths and leaving hundreds of families homeless. Commercial infrastructures were also affected, including a workshop of the World Confederation of Artisans, which lost hundreds of jobs.
