Bureaucracy, knowledge gaps hindering access to health fund - Epidemiologist

A senior health official in Kano State stated that bureaucracy and knowledge gaps among stakeholders are hindering access to health emergency preparedness funds. Dr. Suleiman Illiyasu emphasized that while funds are available at the national level, accessing them at the state level is challenged by administrative bottlenecks and limited technical capacity. He also called for stronger monitoring systems to improve transparency in health fund management.
