Burkina Faso publicly showcased a surface-to-air missile system identified as the Sky Dragon 30 during a test broadcast on September 1, 2026. Although official identification has not been confirmed, analyses suggest that the system, developed by Norinco, has a maximum range of 30 kilometers. This demonstration is part of a military modernization policy announced by Captain Ibrahim Traoré at the end of 2023.
