Burkinabè in Côte d’Ivoire: Costs and requirements for obtaining consular documents

Burkina Faso’s three general consulates in Abidjan, Soubré and Bouaké provide consular services to Burkinabè nationals in Côte d’Ivoire, with procedures increasingly digitized. A biometric consular card costs 7,000 CFA francs for both first-time applications and renewals, and applicants must provide a birth certificate, passport or Burkinabè national identity card. Birth registration is free if completed within two months and at least one parent is physically present, with the required documents.
