The C64 has called on Congolese citizens to demonstrate on September 15 in front of the Palais du Peuple in Kinshasa to oppose the constitutional change project. Franklin Tshiamala, secretary general of the LGD party, criticized the government's priorities, stating that security issues, deaths from the Ebola epidemic, unemployment, and corruption should be the authorities' focus. The mobilization aims to express opposition to what they see as an intention to establish a lifelong power.
