FECAFOOT in mourning: Aline Mbesse, president of AS Fortuna, has died

Aline Mbesse, president of AS Fortuna de Mfou, passed away on Monday, announced by FECAFOOT. She took over the club after the death of her husband, Noah Minala Roger, in 2024, becoming one of the few women to lead a MTN Elite One team. FECAFOOT paid tribute to her, highlighting her energetic contribution and noting her loss as a significant blow to Cameroonian football. Her death leaves AS Fortuna without a leader, prompting the need for new administrative arrangements.
