CAF-C1: Mazembe advances to the 2nd round after another controlled victory against Medeama

TP Mazembe secured a decisive 3-1 victory against Medeama SC at the Kamalondo Stadium in Lubumbashi, confirming their qualification for the 2nd round of the CAF Champions League with an aggregate score of 4-1. Patrick Mwaungulu opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, followed by a goal from Josué Kazema in the 19th minute. Despite a missed penalty by Lise Nyembo, Mwaungulu scored again in the second half before Medeama reduced the deficit in the 87th minute.
