CAF Confederation Cup: “Nothing is decided yet; we must extend the lead next week” (Mauril Meshack Njoya)

AS Maniema Union defeated Kabuscorp SC 4-1 away on Sunday, October 18, in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup’s second preliminary round. Despite the substantial lead, coach Mauril Mesack Njoya urged his team to remain cautious ahead of the return leg. He dismissed the idea of rotating the squad straight away, saying they should first extend the lead and secure qualification for the group stage.
