CAF Confederation Cup: “We’ll get back to work to prepare for the second leg and hope to turn things around” (Hamid Brimil)

Daring Club Virunga lost 2-1 at home to Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto on Sunday, October 18, at the Stade des Martyrs in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second qualifying round. Coach Hamid Brimil said conceding two goals at home made the return leg difficult, but vowed that the team would prepare seriously and try to turn the tie around. The Goma club must win by two goals in Angola, or secure a high-scoring victory, to reach the group stage.
