Cameroon: a 220 billion FCFA hotel project in Douala

A 220 billion FCFA hotel complex, led by ALS Group and operated by Kempinski Hotels, will be built in Douala's business district on nearly two hectares. It will include a 214-room hotel, 35 serviced apartments, 17,000 m² of Grade A office space, as well as conference areas, restaurants, shops, an art gallery, and leisure facilities. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for this Friday in Bonanjo, with a 36-month construction timeline, overseen by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute.
