Cameroon: Clément Atangana has died

Clément Atangana, the President of the Cameroonian Constitutional Council since 2018, died on October 4, 2026, in France at the age of 85. Hospitalized for several months due to a long illness, he passed away around 5:22 AM. Born in 1941, he dedicated his life to the judiciary, serving in various courts and reaching the rank of magistrate outside the hierarchy in 2000.
