Cameroon - Dimako: Restaurant owner arrested with a bag of human bones

In Toungrélo, near Dimako in Cameroon’s East Region, gendarmes arrested 41-year-old restaurant owner Télia Sandrine on October 2, 2026. The operation followed an anonymous tip considered credible and was carried out by the Dimako gendarmerie brigade. She was found near a bag containing human remains in an advanced state of decomposition. She said she believed she was transporting beef, and the investigation is ongoing.
