Cameroon-European Union: A New Ambassador Officially Takes Office in Yaoundé

Cameroon officially welcomed S.E. Veronika Boskovic Pohar as the new ambassador of the European Union. She presented her credentials to Felix Mbayu, the Minister Delegate for External Relations, during a ceremony on September 2. The discussions focused on cooperation between Cameroon and the EU, as well as the current sociopolitical situation in the country. Veronika Boskovic Pohar succeeds Jean-Marc Châtaigner and previously led the EU delegation in Afghanistan.
