Cameroon - Investigations into the issuance of national identity cards: Shanda Tonme writes to Mbarga Nguélé

The Universal Mediator, president of COMICODI and MPDR, has initiated an operation to dismantle criminal networks involved in the fraudulent issuance of national identity cards (CNI) in Douala. He sent an urgent letter to the General Delegate for National Security condemning a serious betrayal against the nation, the state, and society, linked to corruption, trafficking of fake documents, and illegal monetary exchanges in police stations. This effort aims to restore transparency and legality in the issuance process of CNIs.
