Cameroon - Kofane: FIFA rules in favor of AS Nylon, 650 million CFA francs at stake

FIFA has ordered Spanish club Albacete to pay AS Nylon 20% of the proceeds from Christian Kofane’s transfer to Bayer Leverkusen, amounting to about one million euros, or 656 million CFA francs. Albacete has 45 days to pay or risk a ban on registering new players. Kofane left the Cameroonian club for Albacete in November 2024 under a partnership arrangement that involved no initial transfer fee. The ruling is a victory for AS Nylon and its president, Nadège Nkoto.
