Regions 21 and 22 of Lions Clubs International in Cameroon, in partnership with Deïdo District Hospital in Douala, organized a free eye health awareness and consultation campaign on October 8, 2026, for World Sight Day under the theme « Love Your Eyes ». Many residents, including youth, adults, seniors, and students, attended from early morning, receiving consultations from specialists and additional exams if needed. Several beneficiaries praised this effort to improve ocular health in the area.
