Cameroon - Officer Ayissi: « Protect me, I want to speak »

Lieutenant-colonel Ayissi Nanga Parfait requests protection from the Yaoundé military court to testify, fearing for his safety. He previously denounced the internet cut during a DGRE commando operation and expressed concerns about threats, calling for phone operators to be questioned. Ayissi, who arrested Amougou Belinga and alerted his superiors, was involved in the investigation into Martinez Zogo's death in January 2023 and provided documented exchanges with Justin Danwe, former DGRE operations director.
