Cameroon: Senate adopts reform of the Constitutional Council

On April 7, the Cameroonian Senate adopted a bill revising the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Council, defended by State Minister Laurent Esso. This reform aims to update the legal framework in place since 2004, introducing clarifications on managing situations of vacancy at the head of state. The project was reviewed by the Constitutional Laws Committee and validated by a final vote in plenary session.
