Cameroon: Shanda Tonme calls for a law recognizing dual nationality

Shanda Tonme, Universal Mediator and president of COMICODI and the MPDR, has appealed to Cameroon’s president to pass a law recognizing dual nationality. He argues that continuing to prohibit it amounts to “obscurantism” and discrimination that threaten national cohesion and institutional modernization. He also says reform would help attract investment and make better use of the diaspora’s experience.
