Less than nine months before the start of CAN 2027, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania are accelerating preparations to jointly host the tournament with 24 teams, a first in the competition's history. In Kenya, the Talanta stadium in Nairobi, with a capacity of 60,000, was inspected by CAF President Patrice Motsepe, who praised the progress. Tanzania's main stadiums are over 80% complete, and Uganda has finished the Hoima stadium, with work ongoing in Lira and on training grounds.
