CAN 2027 Qualifications: Cameroon Starts with a Win Against Comoros

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon started the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a 3-1 victory over Comoros in Garoua during the first matchday of Group G. David Roy Nyengue scored the opening goal, captain Bryan Mbeumo added a second, and Danny Namaso secured the win with a third goal. Cameroon is tied for first place in the group with Namibia, who defeated Congo 1-0, and will play their next match on September 29.
