CAN dismisses rumour of Alia’s plan to demolish Secretariat

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Benue State Chapter, dismissed rumors that Governor Hyacinth Alia planned to demolish the association's secretariat. Acting Chairman Rev. Jonathan Ugbede described the claims as false and malicious, insisting that the governor had never contemplated such an action. Ugbede also appreciated Alia's prompt response and urged politicians not to drag the Church into partisan politics.
