Canary Islands Endorse Morocco’s Autonomy Proposal

The President of the Canary Islands Government, Fernando Clavijo, stated that his regional executive aligns with Spain's official position supporting Morocco's autonomy proposal for Western Sahara. During a press conference in Las Palmas, he described the initiative as a serious and credible framework for resolving the conflict. Clavijo also emphasized the importance of previous visits to Morocco in strengthening ties between the two sides.
