Cancer Fight: The President of the Republic Aims to Accelerate Prevention and Access to Care

The President of the Republic has instructed the Minister of Health to develop an inclusive national plan to improve cancer prevention and access to care, with a focus on children and communities. He emphasized making cancer control a major health priority, particularly by strengthening community-based prevention and treatment access. The Head of State also called on the Prime Minister to expedite the completion and operationalization of the National Oncology Center in Diamniadio to enhance cancer screening and patient care.
