Cape Town parties to tackle crime, housing and coalition governance

Eleven political parties will participate in a closed-door discussion organized by the National Media Group on key issues for Cape Town's upcoming local elections, including crime, housing, coalition governance, economic growth, and water security, ahead of the November 4 vote. The event, moderated by Lorenzo Davids, will include representatives from parties such as the DA, ANC, EFF, ActionSA, PA, FF Plus, GOOD, ACDP, BOSA, Al Jama-ah, and the NCC. The DA will defend its record on municipal governance, while the ANC emphasizes redistributing the budget to support underfunded townships, and the EFF focuses on addressing spatial inequality and municipal neglect of poor communities.
