Cape Town woman missing after alleged abduction from Surrey Estate petrol station

Fatima Arendse, 38, is missing after an unknown man drove away with her from an Engen petrol station in Surrey Estate, Cape Town, early on Monday, October 26. Her friend Jade Pretorius said Arendse and two friends accepted a lift to Woodstock after a night out in District Six, but the driver took them to Surrey Estate instead. The two friends got out to buy cigarettes, and the car, described as an older white Nissan Almera, drove off with Arendse still inside. Her friends are working to officially open a police case so they can obtain the petrol station’s surveillance footage.
