Cape Verde: two days of national mourning in tribute to the 25 victims of a bus accident

Cape Verde is in mourning for two days following the deaths of at least 25 people in a bus accident on the island of Fogo. Most of the victims were children and adolescents, and the bus driver was also among the deceased. The tragedy occurred in the locality of Campanas when the bus, returning from an excursion, veered off the road and fell into a ravine about thirty meters deep.
