Cardoso backs Bafana boss Mosimane, saying players belong to country at national team level

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has expressed his support for Bafana Bafana's new coach Pitso Mosimane, stating that national team players belong to the nation rather than their clubs. Thirteen Sundowns players have been called up to represent the national team in the 2027 Afcon qualifiers against Guinea and Eritrea, as well as an international friendly against Egypt on October 4. The Sundowns recently won the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup by defeating Al Ahli 2-1.
