Carlos Baleba injured: concern for the Indomitable Lions ahead of Namibia

Carlos Baleba was forced off with a hamstring injury during Manchester United’s 3-2 Champions League win over AS Roma on Tuesday night. Manager Michael Carrick said the injury looked concerning, but tests are needed to establish its severity and no recovery timeline has been announced. Called up by David Pagou for Cameroon’s two matches against Namibia in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the midfielder could miss a second consecutive international camp, although his withdrawal has not been confirmed.
