The President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria, Most Rev. Matthew Ndagoso, urged Nigerians to reject vote-buying and vote-selling ahead of the 2027 general elections. He expressed concerns about possible manipulation of the electoral process and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure free and transparent elections. Ndagoso also emphasized the need for voter cards to be easily accessible to all eligible Nigerians.
