The Cavally-Mont Sinté agroforestry project has reached a new stage with the resumption of the Environmental and Social Impact Study (EIES) and the Free, Prior and Informed Consent (CLIP) process on September 11, 2026, in Toulepleu. Over 50 billion FCFA in investments are planned over ten years, creating approximately 5,000 direct and indirect jobs. The study aims to assess the environmental and social impacts of the project, with public consultations starting on September 22, 2026.
