Ceasefire in DRC: After its deployment in Minembwe, the MCVE+ at the center of discussions between the head of MONUSCO and the Deputy Prime Minister of Defense

Following the ceasefire verification mission in Minembwe, James Swan, head of MONUSCO, met with Deputy Prime Minister of Defense Guy Kabombo. This deployment, supported by MONUSCO, aims to strengthen the monitoring of commitments related to the ceasefire between Kinshasa and the AFC/M23. The mission is seen as a concrete test of the new commitments made during discussions in Doha, Switzerland.
