Celebrating 20 Years of Career: Gadji Céli to Mark the Climax with Around Twenty Songs on October 31

Gadji Céli will perform at the Parc des expositions d’Abidjan on October 31, 2026, to celebrate 40 years in music, despite the headline’s reference to 20 years. At a press conference on October 14 at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, he announced a two-hour show featuring around twenty signature songs, including “Amoudjou,” “Devandougou,” “Éléphant 92” and “Femme de feu.” He will share the stage with Nesly to perform “Besoin d’amour” and plans to pay tribute to people who contributed to his career, present new projects and highlight his humanitarian work. Before his music career, he played for Stella Club d’Adjamé, FC Sète and ASEC Mimosas, and captained the Elephants when Côte d’Ivoire won the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal.
