Cemac: BEAC Raises Weekly Liquidity Offer to 850 Billion FCFA Amid Banks' Appetite

The Bank of Central African States (BEAC) increased its weekly liquidity offer to 850 billion FCFA during an operation on September 22, 2026, marking a record since these operations began. Commercial banks subscribed to 748.2 billion FCFA, representing a subscription rate of about 88%. This is the first time since early September that a subscription rate below 100% has been recorded during these liquidity injections by BEAC.
