Cemac: Without reducing the budget deficit of states to 1.5% of GDP in 2027, the IMF will not sign any new program

According to an authorized source, to conclude new economic programs in 2027, each Cemac country must keep its budget deficit at 1.5% of GDP. If even one country exceeds this limit, the IMF will not sign any new programs in the region. Fiscal discipline and adherence to regional commitments are prerequisites for IMF financial support. This condition has not yet been officially published in IMF public documents.
