Spanish police dismantled a migrant camp on a Ceuta beach on Sunday, ahead of the upcoming visit of the Spanish king and queen in mid-October. The camp at Trampolín formed after over 70,000 migrants arrived from Morocco at the end of July, with several thousand living in dire conditions. About 3,000 migrants, sleeping in makeshift shelters, were evacuated and taken to an immigration center, then to a temporary camp set up by authorities. The evacuation involved over 350 police officers, vans, and military vehicles, but it may not be possible to evacuate all migrants present.
