Ceuta: Enhanced border controls in response to the threat of a migration crisis

Spanish authorities are increasing surveillance at Ceuta's borders due to a threat of migrant influx from Morocco, especially on the day of legislative elections. Patrols of police and soldiers are being deployed to prevent any entry of irregular migrants. In July, over 70,000 migrants reached the enclave, with several thousand remaining.
