Ceuta: Humanitarian Situation Described as 'Dire' by MEPs

Three European MPs described the humanitarian situation in Ceuta as 'dire' after an on-site investigation. In July, over 70,000 migrants arrived from Morocco in the Spanish enclave, with about 5,000 still present, including 1,200 minors. Cases of abuse, torture, and inhumane treatment by military forces have been documented, and the state is accused of hunting migrants within the enclave.
