Ceuta: Prime Minister Sánchez balances between Rabat and Spanish opinion

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez defended the government's handling of the migration crisis in Ceuta, rejecting accusations of Moroccan orchestration of the influx of migrants. In July, nearly 72,000 migrants attempted to reach the enclave, which has only 84,000 residents. Currently, around 5,000 migrants, including 1,200 minors, remain in Ceuta, while the death toll has risen to 141, significantly higher than previous estimates.
