Slovan Bratislava, coached by Yaya Touré, lost 4-0 to LASK in Austria on Tuesday, suffering its 14th consecutive defeat in the main phase of the Champions League. The Slovak club has surpassed Olympique de Marseille’s record of 13 straight losses, set between March 2012 and November 2020. Slovan’s losing run dates back to October 1992 and continued after its return to the competition in 2024-25, when it lost all eight matches, followed by four more defeats this season. Bratislava is now two losses short of the record of 16 consecutive defeats held by Luxembourg’s Jeunesse Esch.
