Child among seven killed by Israel in Gaza on ‘ceasefire’ anniversary

At least seven Palestinians, including an eight-year-old girl, were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza, a year after the US-backed ceasefire took effect, which is described as 'in name only.' Shahd Abdul-Razzaq al-Najjar was killed by an Israeli drone in Gaza City. Other casualties occurred in different parts of Gaza, with a total of 1,481 Palestinians killed and 5,254 injured since the ceasefire began. Since October 2023, Israeli operations have resulted in at least 74,370 deaths and 175,371 injuries, with ongoing daily casualties.
