China: 3.287 Million Drones Registered, Low-Altitude Economy in Anyang

By the end of 2025, China had 3.287 million registered drones, accumulating over 45.3 million flight hours, an increase of nearly 70% year-over-year. Anyang in Henan province has been developing its drone industry since 2016, building a comprehensive ecosystem for R&D, manufacturing, flight testing, and platform management. The city aims to incorporate drones into daily infrastructure for applications such as agriculture, logistics, and emergency response.
