China tells Israel to stop ‘forced establishment’ of West Bank settlements

During a meeting in Azerbaijan, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged Israeli President Isaac Herzog to stop and reverse the “forced establishment” of settlements in the West Bank. Wang described the Palestinian question as the greatest historical injustice of this century and said a two-state solution is the right path. He also called for full access to Gaza to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe and said China was willing to work with the international community to bring the parties back to dialogue.
