Chinese Imports: REasy and AGL test a single payment-logistics window for Cameroonian SMEs

Fintech REasy and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) are deploying a system in Cameroon to streamline Chinese imports by combining payment and logistics. Launched on October 1, 2026, in Douala, the initiative targets a trade corridor that accounted for 1,107.7 billion FCFA of imports in 2024. The partnership, announced in May 2026, has already shipped a first consolidated container from China to Douala, and the system is currently in a pilot phase for small importers.
